What if I have to cancel my reservation?
We understand. Although we will miss you, just click on the link above and send us an email. There is currently a waiting list of 16 people so we can certainly fill the seat.

Is there a silent auction?
No, although we do have door prizes ranging from original paintings to restaurant gift certificates.

No silent auction? That's nuts, well I'm sure you have a live auction, right?
Actually yes! But it's different than most auctions. At our Gala you can bid on the components of the houses we're building. For instance, $250 will buy drywall for a child's bedroom, or $500 will buy lumber and drywall for a bathroom. Can you believe it? Look at how much you can do for a family just by going out and having a good time.

Without silent and live auctions, do you even raise any money?
Since we stopped doing auctions for things you can take home, we've actually doubled the amount raised at this annual event. It seems counter-intuitive until you realize that people are there because they believe in the mission of providing safe, affordable homes for families in our community. Those kinds of people are OUR kinds of people.

What's for dinner?
This year we're having Chicken Piccata on a bed of angel hair pasta, salad and dessert bar. Each attendee will receive two tickets for wine or beer and there is a cash bar available for anything else. |
Are there rooms available at the Stonewall Jackson?
Yes, the hotel is offering rooms at $99, or $115 with breakfast for 2 and free parking. You just need to let them know you want the special rate. |
What will the money raised that night be used for?
EVERY DOLLAR will be used to build 3 new homes in downtown Staunton.
