Building Foundations at The Foundry Event

On Saturday, April 11th, our community came together for our first annual Building Foundations at The Foundry event at Basic City Beer Co. Supporters, partners, volunteers, and friends filled the room for an evening of dinner, live music, and both silent and live auctions — all in support of our mission to build and restore homes, lives, and communities.

An Evening of Community Support

From the moment guests arrived, the room was filled with warmth, familiar faces, and new conversations. Everyone gathered with a common purpose: to help create more opportunities for safe, stable housing in our community. Events like this are a reminder that our work is not done alone. It is built through the support of people who believe in what we do and want to be part of what comes next.

Making an Impact Together

Through the generosity of attendees, sponsors, and donors, the evening far exceeded our goal, raising funds that will directly support the construction of affordable homes in Staunton, Augusta County, and Waynesboro. Every bid placed, donation made, ticket purchased, and conversation shared contributed to that goal.

These donations will help us continue building homes, partnering with future homeowners, and creating pathways to stability for local families. The impact of this support will extend far beyond one evening.

Looking Ahead

Building Foundations at The Foundry is more than a single event. It is a reflection of this community choosing, year after year, to invest in something that lasts. As we move forward, we carry that momentum into every home we build and every family we partner with.

We are grateful to everyone who showed up, whether you bid, donated, cheered, or simply believed in what we are building together. If you would like to stay connected and support our work, contact us to learn more about giving, volunteering, and upcoming opportunities.
