Excellent News from the President of SAW Habitat
Greetings from SAW Habitat!
I am writing today to share some excellent news! The Board of Directors of SAW Habitat for Humanity is incredibly pleased to announce the appointment of David Wenger as the affiliate’s new interim Executive Director.
We hired David to help lead our organization in refocusing on our core mission of building affordable housing.
David previously served as Executive Director of Central Valley Habitat for Humanity (Harrisonburg, VA), following a successful career as a school administrator, teacher, and coach. He earned doctoral and master's degrees in Administration and Supervision from UVA, and a bachelor's in mathematics from Bridgewater College.
David has a demonstrated a strong capacity for leading an organization that is dedicated to serving families in need of affordable housing. We are very happy that he is bringing his management skills and abilities – and positive outlook – to Staunton-Augusta-Waynesboro!
